DBC claims service for clinics

Rexium Claims

Can your electronic patient record (EPR) not generate a ZH308 file? Or does your clinic provide non-contracted care and do you need help drawing up correct care invoices (zorgnota's)?

Rexium supports independent clinics in preparing and processing DBC claims. Our service is suitable for clinics with and without contracts with health insurers.

Healthcare money belongs in healthcare. But how much is lost to administration?

Our services

Having a ZH308 file prepared

50
per ZH308 file

We convert the claims data you provide into a ZH308 file that can be submitted to the health insurer.

Rate: € 50 per ZH308 file

This rate applies when all required data is supplied completely and correctly.

Full claims support

150
per month + 10%

Rather not collect and supply the claims data yourself? After clear agreements on access, responsibilities and data protection, Rexium can collect the required information from your system and support the entire claims process.

Rate: € 150 per month plus 10% of the agreed claim amount

The 10% is calculated on the claim amount your clinic has actually received.

All prices exclude VAT.

DBC claims service: ZH308 file € 50, care invoice € 50, full support € 150 per month + 10%. Lower administration costs, more money for care.

Our vision: healthcare money belongs in healthcare

We believe good support with healthcare claims should be affordable and accessible. Every euro not lost to unnecessary administration, complicated systems or rework can be spent where it is needed most: good care for patients.

Our service grew out of practice. Together with the medical team at Skin & Vision Clinics, we experienced the challenges a new clinic faces in correctly registering and claiming the DBC care it delivers. Especially in the start-up phase, complex claims rules and expensive software can hold back a clinic's development.

That is why we jointly built a practical, enabling claims system. It helped Skin & Vision Clinics set up its claims process carefully and cost-effectively, so the clinic could keep providing care while continuing to grow and develop.

Together with Skin & Vision Clinics, we now want to make that knowledge and experience available to other clinics in the Netherlands. With affordable rates, personal support and solutions that fit daily practice, we help clinics grow in a financially healthy way.

In this way we help ensure that as much healthcare money as possible is kept for its intended purpose: delivering high-quality, accessible care.

What do we need?

Depending on the assignment, we need the following information, among other things:

  • patient and insurance details;
  • referrer details;
  • diagnosis, care request and treatment details;
  • procedures performed;
  • start and end date of the care pathway;
  • reason for closure;
  • practitioner and specialty;
  • service codes and claim rates.

Once received, Rexium checks whether all required data is present. Missing or unclear information is always discussed with the clinic first.

Which clinics is this for?

  • independent treatment centres (ZBCs) and private clinics;
  • clinics providing contracted care;
  • clinics providing non-contracted care;
  • new clinics that still need to set up their claims process;
  • care providers whose EPR cannot generate a suitable ZH308 file.

The technology behind our claims service

Our claims service runs on Rexium Claims, the claims engine for Dutch medical specialist care (MSZ) within Rexium HealthOS. Every claim is checked before it leaves your clinic.

01

Import

Read claims data from CSV or Dutch-language Excel files (.xlsx), straight from your EPR export.

02

Batches and lines

Claims are grouped into batches, with a reference for every individual claim line.

03

Validation up front

Checks against the Vektis code lists and RBC rule sets, so rejections are prevented rather than repaired.

04

DBC grouper

Derives the care product code (zorgproductcode) and ZV hash total using the certified GGG grouper (VECOZO, SOAP/mTLS) or the built-in grouper based on the NZa product structure.

05

ZH308 v9.0 export

Generates fixed-width ZH308 v9.0 files, including record 03 (SB311 debtor records).

06

ZH309 return files

Processes ZH309 return files and applies the outcomes to the individual claim lines.

07

DIS delivery

Complete DIS workflow: export, return-file upload, and parsing and applying the results.

08

Secure and GDPR-aware

Sign-in with roles and permissions, an audit trail of actions, and tools for retention periods and pseudonymisation.

Less administration, more attention for care

A careful claims process helps limit unnecessary delays, rejections and rework. Rexium supports your clinic with practical claims processing, so you can focus on patient care and the further development of your organisation.
